Why there's a deposit on this one
Survive.com is one of our premium names. Names at this level
attract a great many casual lease enquiries and very few real ones, which is exactly why
owners stop reading the inbox. A $20.00 deposit means
every enquiry that reaches the owner is from someone who means it, so you get a considered
answer within two business days instead of silence.
It comes off your lease. If we agree terms, the
$20.00 is credited against what you pay. It is only kept if no
lease is agreed. Lease enquiries on every non-premium name are free.
The terms, plainly
$20.00 is a deposit on a lease enquiry for a premium name. It is charged when you send the enquiry.
If we agree lease terms, the $20.00 is credited against your lease — it comes off what you pay.
If no lease is agreed, the $20.00 is not refunded. It is what keeps this queue worth answering, and it is why you get a considered reply instead of silence.
An enquiry does not reserve the domain and is not a binding agreement to lease; terms are agreed in writing.
You will get a written response within 2 business days.
I authorise Names.com to charge my card
$20.00 now to send this lease enquiry. I understand it is
credited against the lease if we agree terms , and
not refunded if no lease is agreed .
