Published rates as of 2026; check each marketplace for current terms. A buyer-side fee is still money out of your sale — it comes off what a buyer is willing to agree to, which is why we don't charge one.

Comparable sales, brandability, and a defensible price range before you set your number. We sell this on its own; listers get it included.
Offers, counters, and buyer qualification route through our brokerage. You approve the number; we do the back-and-forth and open escrow on accepted terms.
Non-exclusive. Keep your name on every other marketplace you use — we don't ask you to take it down, and there's nothing to cancel if you sell it somewhere else.
Buyers who can't write the cheque today can start on a monthly agreement instead of walking away. Optional per listing, and it converts prospects who would otherwise be a lost sale.
Funds and transfer move through escrow. Neither side is asked to go first.
A marketplace listing is $99 per year and publishes as soon as payment clears — it is self-serve, so nothing waits on a manual review. Listings are non-exclusive: keep the name on every other marketplace you use. There is no buyer-side fee. On a successful sale arranged through Names.com, Names.com receives a 15% commission from the seller's proceeds; on accepted terms we open or coordinate escrow between buyer and seller.
Premium is $99 per month and adds showcasing on top of the listing: Showcased on the Names.com homepage; Featured row placement in the marketplace; Premium badge and styling everywhere the name appears; Auto-generated logo on your listing; Hero banner on your domain's own page; Your written blurb used as the page's search-result description; Lease-to-own pricing shown to buyers. Premium affects visibility only.
Fees are charged for the period shown and are not prorated or refundable once the listing is live. A listing stops appearing when its paid period ends. By submitting you confirm you own the domain or are authorised to represent it. Names.com may remove a listing that infringes a trademark or breaches these terms.
